PTFE Coated Nuts has good formability and weldability, along with increased resistance to chemical attack from acids. PTFE Coated Bolts should be forged in the temperature range 2200 Degree F / 1700 Degree F (1205 Degree C / 925 Degree C). PTFE Coated Stud Bolts is used for Food Processing, Seals and other components for the oil and gas industry. In addition, annealing can be performed on Xylan Coated Washers between 1850 Degree F and 2050 Degree F, followed by rapid cooling. Xylan Coated Screws is also used in pulp and paper, chemical and pharmaceutical processing equipment and machinery. PTFE Coated Hex Head Nuts can be readily formed and fabricated by a full range of cold working operations.
The combination of molybdenum and nitrogen in the chemical composition of PTFE Coated Hex Head Bolts is particularly effective in increasing the resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice, especially in acid medium with chlorides and sulfur compounds at high temperatures. PTFE Coated Hex Head Screws has higher molybdenum or molybdenum plus nitrogen content which provide even greater resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion. PTFE Coated Flat Washers is often used in Flue gas desulfurization systems, Chemical process vessels, etc.
