Heating for long periods of time in the chromium carbide precipitation range may affect the general resistance of Duplex Steel S32205 Coils in severe corrosive media.

In the heat affected zone (HAZ) of the weld region, Duplex Steel 2205 Sheets minimises hazardous carbide precipitation. Duplex Steel 2205 Plates is also an excellent choice for large welded products that can’t be re-annealed.
