Ubique Alloys Pvt. Ltd is a noticeable manufacturer and exporter of SS 441 Sheets and Plates, which has to be water quenched and annealed to obtain maximum hardness. Stainless Steel 441 Plates is suitable for service in aqueous and low temperature environments as the alloy has good resistance to inter-granular attack. The columbium addition in Stainless Steel 441 Coils also improves high temperature properties. SS 441 Plates may also be used for exposures where sensitization and inter-granular corrosion are of concern. However, when being heat treated SS 441 Coils must be heated up in the range of 2100 Degree F to 2250 Degree F. Working temperatures in 441 Stainless Steel Sheets of 2100 Degree F – 2250 Degree F (1149 Degree C – 1232 Degree C) are recommended for forging, upsetting and other hot work processes. Copper back-up plates for faster heat rejection are functional in 441 Stainless Steel Plates, whereas to avoid cracks in the solder metal, it is not allowed to surface-fuse the copper back up plate.
441 Stainless Steel Coils is used for Fired heater tubes, Distributor trays and thermowells, Equipment in and around reactors (good resistance to polythionic acid), etc. Stainless Steel UNS S44100 Sheets offers higher creep and stress rupture properties which might also be considered for exposures where sensitization and inter-granular corrosion are concerns.
