Nickel 201 Coils offer similar resistance to general, overall corrosion as the unsterilized chromium nickel Alloy.
Alloy 200 Sheets contain columbium and tantalum, which provide some desirable properties. Alloy 200 Plates are primarily employed in applications where corrosion resistance and long-term operation at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit are critical. In a petrochemical plant, Alloy 200 Coils must have appropriate creep resistance, hot corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
